On 21 and 22 March the University of Copenhagen will be hosting a symposium entitled 'A Unique European Institution. The European Court of Human Rights after 50 Years'. Amongst others, the following themes will be addressed: the political context in which the Court is functioning; the Court's institutional orientation; and the Court and societies in conflict.
